In honor of "Black Friday", I thought a Christmas Wish List was in order. Plus, rumor has it that friends and family members read my blog.
- Any kind of Disney collectible that features Scrooge McDuck. This may be difficult to track down. I haven't had much luck myself. In 6 years, I have only found one and I already purchased it.
- DuckTales Volume 3. Come on, any one of us that enjoyed the Disney Afternoon cartoons of the 90's would want this.
- The Muppet Show Season One: Special Edition and The Muppet Show Season Two: Special Edition. Let's face it, there hasn't been an evening variety show quite like this one. This show was a highlight of my week. I'm sure George would agree with this wish list item.
- Sony PlayStation 3. Let's face it, it's the cheapest way to get a Blu Ray player and Disney is Blu Ray exclusive. I want to stop purchasing DVD versions on Disney movies, therefore, I need a Blu Ray player. UPDATED (11/24/2007): I have acquired this already. There was a Christmas deal that I couldn't turn down.
- Ludwig Von Drake Walt Disney Classics Collectible. I cannot help it. Some of the older Disney animation features that I remember from my youth contained Ludwig Von Drake. Thank you The Wonderful World of Disney
- Bamboo Placemats from the Japan Pavilion in Epcot Center. Barcode#: 21205870. It was dark colored wood. These were the ones that I didn't let my wife buy when we were there in September.
- Any or all of the Imagineering Field Guide books.
- Any of these pictures from Tim Devine's Store (Discount code holiday07 will get you $1 off per item purchased)
- Volume 1 of The Walt Disney World Trivia Book. I already have Volume 2, so I need volume 1 to complete my collection
- Lou Mongello's Audio Guide to Walt Disney World: Main Street U.S.A. To use my own words, I guess I don't get enough of my Vitamin M. This just seems like a real unique product offering. I just think it will be like those audio tours you can take at museums where you can walk down Main Street U.S.A. and have Lou tell you everything about what you are seeing.
This is most definitely an all encompassing list. I didn't even touch on the snowglobes that I'm interested. Disney and it's community is always dropping new and wonderful things that I'd love to own.

Nice list, Ray...
I'm sure you (or Nancy) will find lots more at MouseFest this year!
I'm proud of the fact that you are asking for 4 books this year. Way to go me!
George,
You are correct. There is no doubt in my mind that my Disney Wish List will grow exponentially after stepping foot in the parks.
Also, despite my great disdain for reading, I do read on occasion. Especially, if its on a topic I enjoy (like Disney). Unfortunately, my real joy (computer programming) produces books that can put an insomniac to sleep
Ray,
"Vitamin M" - too funny! That alone will help you knock off two things off your list, as I'd be happy to play Santa and give you a copy of the book and CD at MouseFest. (Don't worry.. I'll add them to George's bill) ;)
See you there!
Lou (aka Santa),
Thanks! You didn't have to make that offer, but I'll gladly accept the gift. And it might not be a surprise to find out that the other book (Volume 2) is on my person.
My post about the contents of my backpack reveals that we tend to wander the parks with both your trivia book and Steve's hidden mickey books so as to provide some fodder when we need to increase the "fun factor"
Ray--I just finished listening to the Audio Guide. You will absolutely love it. I guarantee it or Lou will give you his money back!
It is a great way to get that Vitamin M whenever you need it!
